The doctors have finally been convinced to let me go home. I have a laundry list of rules I have to follow. Things I can and can't do until they say otherwise. I have a schedule of physio that looks more like my old basic training schedule. And I have a rough idea of what to expect in the future. It's...bleak but I won't let it stay that way.


I can't let anyone know. I can't let them find out. If they do... If they know I might never be able to lift more than a few pounds ever again...if they learn I might never be able to lift a gun or throw a punch... I have a promise to Genichirou I have to keep. No one wants a dojo master that is down one arm.

Bleak. It's not something I want to tell you over the internet. It can wait until I can get back home and show you all the limitations the doctor has given me. I can give you my prognosis then. But you have to be calm. Can you do that?
